Aventador Ultimae Overview

The Lamborghini Aventador, which arrived in 2011, is being phased out with the ultimate special edition—the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae. The Ultimae, which will be displayed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, might be a limited-run edition model that commemorates the nameplate’s past and present. As Lamborghini prepares for its electrified future, the carmaker is wrapping up manufacturing the long-lasting V12 super-sports vehicle, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae.

The Murcielago was replaced by the company’s flagship model, which retained the legacy of naturally-aspirated V12 power with an all-wheel-drive grip. Lamborghini’s final natively aspirated and non-hybridized V12 supercar, the Aventador Ultimae, has been announced to commemorate the Aventador’s tenth anniversary. New cars are restricted to 600 units, 350 coupes, and 250 roadster models, and will use the SVJ’s V12 engine adapted for performance and a chassis comparable to the Model S.

Aventador Ultimae Engine & Performences

The V12 in question is the same legendary 6.5-liter unit featured in all Aventadors, but it is now in its most potent form, with a peak power number of 769bhp at 8500rpm, 10bhp more than the SVJ. Torque stays unaltered from the SVJ at 531lb-ft, and drive is still directed to all or any four wheels via Lamborghini’s ISR single-clutch automatic manual transmission.

The Aventador Ultimae has the same acceleration stats as the SVJ, reaching 62mph in 2.8 seconds and 124mph in 8.7 seconds, due to an increased drag coefficient, it boasts a 220mph top speed, making it the fastest Lamborghini yet. Due to its plusher S-based interior, the weight is 25kg lighter than the SVJ at 1550kg dry, and it features the same rear-wheel steering system and adaptive dampers as the S, which is calibrated to a more road-biased setup than the track-focused SVJ. The Aventador S also sports a carbon-fiber tub chassis, pushrod suspension, and carbon ceramic brakes.

Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Price

Local pricing will start at £342,000, slightly below the SVJ. It does, however, represent the end of an era that defined not only Lamborghini but also the bedroom wall supercar, as it is the final Aventador. Long live the V12 Lambo.
