Rimac Company History

Rimac Automobile is a Croatian Automobile company and it was founded by Mate Rimac in 2009 in his home garage. Mate Rimac converted his BMW E30 car to an electric powertrain unit after it’s got popular in 2007. He started to convert this car when he was only 19 years old after its gas engine blew up. After one year his car was able to drive but he was not satisfied with the final result. The car was not powerful and the range was very limited and heavy. Then he decided to gather an expert team to develop their components. At that time, He already had a very clear vision of his ultimate goal, and today, hard work is making his dream come true.”

New Rimac Nevera Overview

The Rimac Nevera, also known as the C_Two in before, the most important fact about the name of “Nevera”, Nevera is an electrically charged storm and I think it’s a good name for this car.

It is one of the quickest cars in the world it can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 1.85 seconds, 0 to 100mph in 4.3secs, and break the quarter-mile from a standing start in 8.6secs. Also, Nevera can go 186mph in just 9.3 seconds, therefore the Nevera is a bit faster than a modern F1 car. Consider the weight of the car, it’s about 2,150kg and yes, it’s pretty heavy.
